Léon Bérard Center

Léon Bérard Center (CLB) is a private, non-profit institution in Lyon specializing in oncology. It is a member of Unicancer, the National Federation of Cancer Centers. The CLB’s mission is to provide high-quality care to individuals suffering from cancer, thanks to the work of nearly 1,600 doctors, caregivers, researchers, administrative, technical, and logistics staff. In addition to its healthcare activities, the center also hosts teaching, as well as fundamental and translational research. More than 400 researchers work there to understand tumor progression processes, improve diagnostics, and develop the treatments of the future.
