The National Research Agency (ANR) is in charge of managing the French State’s investment programs in higher education and research. The ANR’s Hospital-University Research (RHU) initiative in health aims to create an ecosystem conducive to establishing sustainable and productive partnerships between academic research, hospitals, and industry. Such collaborations contribute to improving patient care, deepening the understanding of diseases, designing more effective and better-tolerated treatments, and optimizing the performance of healthcare systems.

The 6th RHU call for projects aligns with the France 2030 plan, one of whose objectives is to “produce at least 20 biomedicines in France, particularly targeting cancers, chronic diseases, including age-related conditions, and to create the medical devices of tomorrow.”

The SyStInn project, led by Professor Charles Dumontet, is a winner of this 6th RHU health call for projects launched by the ANR. Its objective is to evaluate the anticancer potential of a Stimulant of the innate immune System.
